Unit description
This unit provides the learner with an overview of general contract law principles, including the elements required for an effective contract. The unit describes the usefulness and limitations of terms sheets and provides some practical guidance in using such documents. Concepts such as pre-contractual liability, frustration and force majeure are also briefly discussed.
In addition, they will gain knowledge in relation to breach of contract principles, restrictions, indemnities and the law of confidentiality.
