Unit description
This unit provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to deal with the completion of a sale and purchase transaction. They will be introduced to the procedures to be followed after completion.
In addition they will gain knowledge of the procedural steps and practical steps needed to ensure the smooth completion of the clients’ transactions.

To achieve this unit a learner must:
- Explore the Law Society’s Code for Completion by Post
- Examine post completion work for the buyer and sellers’ conveyancer
- Explore Registration of title and the Lenders’ charge
- Identify remedies availableif things go wrong
- Examine Leasehold flats and special considerations
