Unit description
This Unit provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to identify the key steps in a typical conveyancing transaction, and to recognise the main terms and phrases used in leases. They will be introduced to the background law governing conveyancing transactions, the different types of legal estates and third party rights.
In addition they will gain knowledge of the professional rules that govern the relationship with clients in conveyancing transactions and will learn the skill of taking instructions. Finally, learners will consider the type, range and reasons for making pre contract searches and enquiries.
