Unit description
This unit provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to understand Child Law and the Children Act 1989. They will be introduced to key legislation, causes and core principles, which strengthen this area of practice. They will also be introduced to the impact of Human Rights on children law.
In addition, they will gain knowledge in relation to public funding, private law and its procedures.
